This is a 2-day seminar covering the usefulness and place of IV therapy in acute and chronic infectious, immune and inflammatory diseases, including potential benefits and areas of recent research justifying its use. IV therapy has proven useful for improving quality of life for patients with chronic disease, including hydration and nutrition, pain management, recovery and prevention of side effects during radiation and chemotherapy.
